Abstract: Building an application from scratch always comes with lots of opportunities. You get the chance to learn from previous errors and can create an architecture that helps prevent future errors. One of those approaches which definitely always fit your needs and contribute to cleaner code is modularization. This talk will explain one approach to modularize a native Android application and how Android’s build system “Gradle” can be used to implement this approach.

Speaker: Nino is the Co-Founder & CTO at CONNECT Mobility GmbH and as such responsible for the technological development and vision at the company, currently especially for their main product uRyde. He’s been developing native Android apps for nearly 10 years now. Before that, he has worked as freelancer for “Bundesagentur für Arbeit” and was in several mobile tech lead positions for customers such as “Conrad Electronic” and “Teambank”. He holds an MA in “Applied Computer Science” and a Diploma in German Literature and Philosophy.
