Our research project on managerial / economic accounting for software code flows in firm-internal software development (inner source) was awarded a follow-on grant by the DFG.

Hence, we are looking for a new person to perform this research project (and possibly earn a Ph.D. along the way). You should be interested in the economics of software development and have a computer science or information systems background. Ideally, you have strong research (methods) skills; you’ll also need reasonable Python or similar programming skills (but don’t have to be a stellar programmer). If you are interested, please be in touch with Prof. Riehle.

We have other positions open as well.
