The pitch day is on hiatus for now. The reason is that we typically already know the student startups and whether we want to support them and also that there are a lot of pitch oportunities available in the region. We may revive the idea if we see an increase in student startups and we and students and investors believe that a university-run pitch day would be a good idea.
A student startup which would like our support for the EXIST Gründerstipendium must pass our bi-annual pitch day.
Support for the EXIST Gründerstipendium includes:
- Prof. Riehle’s signature on the letter of support for your EXIST grant proposal
- Handling of finances, provision of resources like rooms, Internet, and coffee
- Support of students for their final thesis in the context of the planned startup
The pitch day takes place Wednesdays, the second week after lecture time ends. Typically this is the Wednesday of the fourth week of February and July every year. During a pitch day, student teams will pitch their startup to a selected audience, including Prof. Riehle.
To learn more, please talk to Prof. Riehle directly.
