The Professur für Open-Source-Software (Professorship for Open Source Software) a.k.a. the Open Source Research (and Teaching) Group at the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg researches software engineering questions in general and open source processes, practices, projects, and tools in particular. The group is also the leading party in the Praktische Softwaretechnik (Applied Software Engineering) research and teaching alliance of the computer science department.
