Wanted: Full-stack dev as a start-up cofounder
Our start-up Sweble is looking for a full-stack developer. We already secured our first funding round (>700 000 EUR). Join us as our final co-founder!
Who we are
Sweble is for text what GitHub is for source code. Our product offers a completely new way of collaboration on textual knowledge, where users work independently on their own knowledge bases.
By bringing everyone together on one platform with our innovative technology, we can guarantee smooth collaboration.
We are two experienced full-stack developers and one product manager. Join us now as our final co-founder and be part of the first launch of our product at the end of the year.
Your profile
You love to develop software and have experience doing so not only during your studies or work, but also in private or open source projects. You should have a degree in computer science or a closely related field.
You will work in one of the areas of frontend/microservice/backend-development, dev-ops and site reliability engineering, employing the following technologies:
- Programming languages: Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Python, Bash
- Frameworks: React, Redux, NodeJS, Dropwizard
- Databases: PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Elasticsearch
- Infrastructure: Kubernetes, Docker, Icinga, Linux

What we offer
We are a university spin-off of the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg and received funding from the German state via the EXIST Forschungstransfer programme. We offer a full-time university position for 18 months and a competitive salary afterwards. Equity is negotiable and you can even join as a co-founder.
We develop in an agile manner and are currently finishing up our MVP. We are supported by a strong network including start-up incubators and industry experts.
Our new office is located in the heart of Erlangen, close to Nuremberg, and we are looking forward to develop our innovative solutions for knowledge collaboration with you – and have a lot of fun along the way!
